                CHEMK offers three series UV absorber productions: UV-TRIAZINE SERIES, UV BENZOTRIZOLE SERIES and Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers (HALS).

                UV BENZOTRIZOLE SERIES UV absorbers have a broad spectral coverage and are used for various applications such as plastic, textiles, coatings, adhesives and sealants. In the coatings area, the applications of BTZ (2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-benzotriazoles) ranges from medium- (industrial/architectural) to high-end (automotive).

                UV-TRIAZINE SERIES UV absorbers exhibit superior photo permanence and heat stability compared to BTZ and BP.  In addition, HPT (2-hydroxyphenyls-Triazines) shows excellent chemical resistance, for example, the mono-resorcinyl-triazines do not interact with certain metal ions (e.g., catalysts or production-related impurities) or strong alkali as opposed to BTZ.

                For a HALS to be effective, it must be capable of trapping free radicals once they have formed. They act as radical scavengers in the autoxidation cycle and inhibit the photo-oxidative for the degradation of polymers. They are effective in retaining surface properties such as gloss and prevent cracking and chalking.

                In line with the technology people-oriented service concept, CHEMK has very strong R&D capability to meet customers’ demands and focus on this area to meet future technical challenges. And CHEMK can provide a one-stop solution from formulation conception to research and development, from production to delivery to customers.
